An open-air ethnographic museum, consisting of an ensemble of seven wooden houses and farm buildings that are over 200 years old. The buildings are a typical example of popular construction in the Pokuplje, Turopolje and Posavina regions. All are fitted out with traditional inventory, sorted by themes: agricultural tools, a cart-wright's and traditional footwear shop, a wedding with the bride's dress, means of working the flax, house inventory and a few flower gardens in which old-fashioned plants were grown.
The museum was endangered by numerous artillery attacks from the nearby occupied territory.

Protection:

The buildings were not protected. Parts of the museum holdings were stored in the safer rooms. The inventory list was also stored in a safe place.

Building damage:

During the fighting in the Pokuplje region, a courtyard between two houses received a direct hit. The blast damaged the roofs, dispersed and destroyed roof tiles and the upper and lower parts of the porch. The windowpanes and frames were broken.

Structure damage:

Due to the blast and splinters of broken windowpanes, 98 items were destroyed or heavily damaged.
