The Gallery of Fine Arts holds works of art from the 19th and 20th centuries, mostly by authors from Slavonia and other parts of Croatia.
During the war, the Gallery was, as well as the Museum, exposed to artillery attack and destruction.

September 23rd 1991
During the shelling of the town, a neighbouring building was hit, so that the shell shrapnel had damaged facades of the Gallery building.

The Gallery holdings were not damaged.
