In the Memorial house of the Sixth Proletariat Division in Mukinje near the Plitvice lakes, exhibits were grouped in three separate collections: an ethnographic collection, a collection of works of fine art by contemporary artists, and a collection of military equipment and weapons.
The Ethnographic collection: holdings were made out of items presenting the traditional life of the Lika region, with items that are in everyday use in village homes, in the fields or are used for various crafts.
The Collection of fine arts: it had consisted of approximately 120 paintings and sculptures, collected by donations. The authors were painters renowned in artistic circles of their respective communities. Among the donators was a painter from Netherlands, Hugo Landheer, who had donated 45 of his paintings.
The Collection of military equipment and weapons: apart from the facsimiles and copies, the collection held weapons, personal items and documents of the soldiers of the Sixth Proletariat Division.

Reports on the situation and protection of museum holdings were not sent in.

Building damage:


*In a report by B. Sulc, directress of the MDC, who had together with the Commission for the inspection of the State of Cultural Monuments in Liberated Areas of the Republic of Croatia, (organised by the State Administration for the Protection of the Cultural and Natural Heritage from Zagreb) visited Mukinje on August 10th, 1995, it is stated that the museum exhibition from 1981 has been completely preserved and the building has not been damaged.
* A report by ethnologist A. Mlinar, senior conservator from the State Administration for the Protection of the Cultural and Natural Heritage - Zagreb Department of Conservation, who had visited Mukinje in May of 1996, it is stated that there is a hole on the roof through which rain is coming in, and the museum exhibits are not in the building.
