Open-air ethnomuseum, founded and cared for by the inhabitants of Ivanovo Selo belonging to the Czech ethnic group. The museum's ethno-plot consists of a house and farmhouses (barn, corn store, well...). All buildings are fitted out with the traditional village inventory of Czech provenience.
The museum was exposed to artillery and aircraft attack at the end of 1991 and beginning of 1992, during the war in Western Slavonia.

Protection:

During the war the plot was unprotected.
Local inhabitants had protected a part of the museum's holdings by storing them in the secure rooms at the local school. The second part of museum holdings was saved by transfer to the Bjelovar Municipal Museum, because of the exhibition "Together for 200 Years" (commemorating the 200th anniversary of Czechs moving to Croatia).

Structure damage:

By the end of 1991 a shell fell in the immediate vicinity of the house, damaging it severely. The explosion had damaged the static balance of all the neighbouring farm buildings. The museum holdings were not damaged.
